The Christmas Donation Hub is coming back for 2026

The Christmas Donation Hub will return to The Mall Maidstone from Saturday 28 November to Saturday 12 December, collecting donations for local charities who will distribute items to people and families who need them most.

The Hub will officially open on Monday 30 November at 11am, when the Deputy Mayor of Maidstone, Councillor Dennis Spooner, will mark the start of this year’s appeal.

Opening times

The Hub will be open:

  • Monday to Friday: 10am to 2pm
  • Saturday: 10am to 4pm
  • Sunday: Closed

What can I donate?

The Hub is collecting:

  • New children’s toys
  • Festive gifts
  • Christmas decorations
  • Non-perishable food

Please note that we are unable to accept used or second-hand items.

The Christmas Donation Hub is located near the food court on the middle level of The Mall Maidstone and will be staffed by volunteers throughout the two-week appeal.

Charities we are supporting

Donations will support local charities and organisations including:

  • Age UK Maidstone

Every donation, no matter how small, can help bring some extra Christmas cheer to someone in the Maidstone community who might otherwise go without.
