The elected Member of Parliament for Faversham and Mid Kent constituency has been named as Helen Olivia Bicknell Whately – The Conservative Party Candidate, who received a total of 31,864 votes.

The result was announced at the General Election Count held at the Clive Emson Exhibition Centre, Detling, Maidstone at 03.35am today – Friday 13 December.

69% of the electorate turned-out to vote across the constituency where Helen Olivia Bicknell Whately was voted as the newly elected MP.

The candidates who stood for MP to represent the constituency of Faversham and Mid Kent and the total number of votes they received at the polls were:

  • Gary Butler – Independent - 369
  • Hannah Amanda Perkin – Liberal Democrats – To stop Brexit – 6,170
  • Jenny Reeves – Labour Party – 9,888
  • Hannah Yvette Temple – Green Party – 2,103
  • Helen Olivia Bicknell Whately – The Conservative Party Candidate -31,864
