Everyone is being invited to take part in Maidstone’s free Heritage Open Day events taking place from Friday 8 to Sunday 17 September.
MBC cracking down on fly-tipping with higher fines being introduced
Maidstone Borough Council’s (MBC) Waste Crime Team is committed to reducing the amount of illegally deposited waste in the town centre and across the borough to stop fly-tipping and littering.
All welcome at Maidstone’s Eco Hub
Maidstone’s Eco Hub is now open in the town centre. Situated in The Mall Shopping Centre, the Hub is staffed by the Maidstone Borough Council (MBC) Climate and Biodiversity Team along with volunteers who will be on-hand to help visitors with information and advice about how to become more sustainable and eco-friendlier.
Lockmeadow trio of summer sessions events
Lockmeadow Entertainment Centre has a host of Summer Sessions events again this year including a Thai Festival, Paddle Boarding and a new event - Summer Indian Street Fest.
