News Further letter to Secretary of State about housebuilding targets
Maidstone Borough Council has written a further letter to Rt. Hon Robert Jenrick MP, The Secretary of State for Housing Communities and Local Government, about a lack of response to a letter originally sent in January.
The original letter formally expresses concerns around the government’s methodology for setting housing targets for each Council and it also raises four specific ‘asks’ for the Secretary of State to consider.
The letters have the support of the leader of each of the Council’s political parties and Helen Grant MP.
