So far, £626,000 has been claimed out of a possible £2.4million.
The Council would like to see every business entitled to claim ‘The Local Restrictions Support Grant’ to put in an application.
Stephen McGinnes, Mid Kent Services Director at Maidstone Borough Council said:
“We really don’t want those businesses affected to miss out on money that is meant to help them through this difficult time.“With this national lockdown finishing on Wednesday many businesses can now reopen, so if you are one of those who has been forced to close, please apply now.”
