Young people in Maidstone aged 11 to 18 years old are being asked for their views on how safe they feel in the borough.

Maidstone Borough Council is carrying out research into how young people feel about living in Maidstone and would like them to complete a survey.

All responses are anonymous and will be used to shape the services needed across the borough in the future.

Community Protection Manager at Maidstone Borough Council, Martyn Jeynes said:

“We would really like to hear from as many young people as possible in this age group and understand their fears at school, at home, when they travel and online. As part of the survey they will also be asked how Covid has affected their lives. The results will help us make things safer for them and improve services based on what they tell us.

“If they take the survey they will be entered into a draw and could even win a £50 shopping voucher.”

The anonymous survey is open to 11 to 18 year old's here:

The survey closes on Monday 10 May 2021 and 20 young people will each win a £50 shopping voucher each, the draw for this will be held on 14 May.
