News Just a week to apply for new business grant

A further business grant available for Maidstone businesses affected by this current lockdown three will close on Tuesday 23 February.

Maidstone Borough Council is advising businesses to check their eligibility for ‘Additional Restrictions Grant Three’ funding.

To be eligible business must not have already claimed a mandatory or discretionary lockdown business grant and have suffered a significant loss of income due to the current lockdown restrictions.

Cllr Paul Harper, Chair of the Economic, Regeneration ad Leisure Committee at Maidstone Borough Council said:

“We urge any business based in the borough who has not already claimed a grant to check their eligibility as soon as possible and apply if they are eligible. It is a very simple process as they apply online. All payments are awarded by the Council on a discretionary basis in order to make sure all businesses benefit from this government grant.”
