Giving details on the warm home discount scheme, information around Universal Credit, support with Council Tax payments, support with healthy eating, exercise and wellbeing, to offer household bill payment support as well as general debt and money advice.

MBC Leader, Cllr David Burton said:
“We realise that this year more than ever people may be worried about how they are going to cope in the coming winter months and Maidstone Borough Council is here to help our residents and support those who may be struggling to make ends meet.“These Winter Bill Support Roadshows are a great example of the Council services working together with various organisations which can advise people on a number of issues and tell them about support that is available to them and which they may not be aware of. I would encourage anyone who needs help not to leave it too late and to come and talk to us.”
All the advice the Council and partner organisations are offering is free, impartial and confidential; it is tailored to help each individual situation.
