Cllr Lottie Parfitt-Reid, Lead Member for Communities and Public Engagement at MBC said:
“By registering for e-billing you get a faster, more efficient, and convenient way to receive and check your bill. Instead of receiving paper bills you will receive an email with your bill attached.“We all need to do everything we can to try and minimise our environmental impact, so if you have an email we would love you to go paperless and sign up now.
“Already 25,000 households are registered for council tax e-billing and we appreciate not everyone has an email address, however if we can increase this to 50,000 we can really start to make a difference.
“By opting to get your Council Tax bills by email you will be helping us to reduce our costs which means we can spend the money saved on other essential services. It’s very easy to do so why not register now.”
You will need an email address to register as well as your Council tax account number and you need to be the person named on the bill.
