MBC Lead Cabinet Member for Communities and Public Engagement – Cllr Lottie Parfitt Reid said:
“The price of food, utilities, heating, fuel and paying their bills are just a few of the things that people are telling the Council they are really worried about. So we are working with our many partners to provide as much help and advice that we can, under one roof, to make it as simple as possible for people to get the help they need.
“Remember if you are worried about your rising costs you are not on your own, we’re here to help. Anyone is welcome to come along to this free event, please come and talk to us, we are also offering a hot drink and a biscuit.”
All the advice the Council and partner organisations are offering is free, impartial and confidential; it is tailored to help each individual situation.
