Maidstone Borough Council (MBC) has teamed up with the Hazlitt Theatre and Parkwood Theatres to bring the wonderful story to life in a summer open air tour.
Grab a picnic and a blanket and book your place for an outdoor performance to remember and watch this family-friendly story unfold. The show is coming to these open-air venues:
Hermitage Millennium Amphitheatre, ME15 6YF: Sat 12 August - 2pm & 5pm
Cobtree Manor Park: Sun 13 August - 4pm
Marden on the Green: Tues 15 August - 6pm
Little Fant Farm: Wed 16 August - 5pm
Bearsted Green: Fri 18 August - 6pm
Staplehurst on the Green: Sat 19 August - 4pm
Dandelion Time, West Farleigh: Sun 20 August - 3pm
Cllr Claudine Russell, Cabinet Member for Communities, Leisure and Arts at Maidstone Borough Council said:
“We are thrilled to be working again with The Hazlitt Theatre this summer on these wonderful outdoor plays.“The swashbuckling adventure of Treasure Island will be touring all around the borough giving everyone the opportunity to experience the theatre in beautiful and interesting surroundings. A whole family of four can enjoy the show for £15, or single tickets are £5 each. There is nothing quite like watching a performance outside in the open air.”
This new production is adapted by Darren James Clark and directed by Jenny Longley.
