Everyone is being encouraged to take part in a Peter Pan themed Christmas Trail organised by One Maidstone and supported by Maidstone Borough Council and The Hazlitt Theatre.

There are 24 posters displayed in shop windows and outlets around the town centre, scan the QR codes on each one and then enter the competition and be in with a chance to win £150 of shopping vouchers or a VIP family Panto Ticket for 2024.

The trail is now open and runs until Thursday 4 January 2024.

Six fun face boards will also be dotted around the town for people to take fun photos and share them on social media using @onemaidstone @visitmaidstone @hazlitt_theatre and tag: #maidstonefunfaces. Download a copy of the trail map here: trail map.

Michelle Woodland, CEO of One Maidstone said:

“Following the huge success of the Christmas light switch on we wanted to keep the festive cheer going with a fun trail for people to do around the town. The free family festive Peter Pan Trail and fun faces boards can be found all over town. The more you find and scan, the more chances to win!”

Cllr Claudine Russell, Cabinet Member for Communities, Leisure and Arts at Maidstone Borough Council said:

“We are delighted to be working with our colleagues at One Maidstone and the Hazlitt Theatre on this Peter Pan themed Christmas Trail. Hopefully we will see lots of people looking for the posters and visiting all the shops and outlets on the way. Look out for the Peter Pan photo boards too and take your selfies. It’s a great way to add a bit of fun to a trip into town around the shops for Christmas.”

Tracy Burke, Hazlitt Theatre Marketing Manager said:

“We are thrilled to be part of the Peter Pan trail and hopefully get everyone excited for The New Adventures of Peter Pan, running at the Hazlitt Theatre from 25 November to 31 December. We hope all the families have fun on the adventure to find all our panto characters and also take part in the colouring sheet, that can also be downloaded for free from our panto booking page to take some of the Neverland magic home!  This is a lovely way to get everyone into the festive spirit, explore Maidstone and we look forward to welcoming the trail winner at our next 2024 pantomime, Cinderella, running 30 November to 31st December- available to book on New Year's Day!”

One of MBC’s priorities is that Maidstone is a Thriving Place and these events support this.
