The elected Member of Parliament for Faversham & Mid Kent has been named as Helen Whately, Conservative Party who received a total of 14,816 votes. The elected Member of Parliament for Maidstone & Malling has been named as Helen Grant, Conservative Party who received a total 14,146 votes.

The results were announced at the General Election Count held at Mote Hall, Maidstone Leisure Centre, Mote Park, Maidstone today Friday 5 July 2024.

46,763 people, (63% of the electorate) turned-out to vote across the constituency for Faversham & Mid Kent, whilst 46,526 people (61% of the electorate) voted in the Maidstone & Malling constituency.

The candidates who stood for MP to represent the Faversham & Mid Kent Constituency and the total number of votes they received were:

  • Mel Dawkins – Labour Party – 13,347
  • Maxwell Stanley Harrison – Reform UK – 9,884
  • Hannah Amanda Perkin – Liberal Democrats – 4,158
  • Lawrence Rustem – British Democrats – 171
  • Hannah Temple – Green Party – 4,218
  • Helen Olivia Bicknell Whately – Conversative Party – 14,816

The candidates who stood for MP to represent the Maidstone & Malling Constituency and the total number of votes they received were:

  • Gary Butler – British Democrats – 156
  • Maureen Cleator – Labour Party - 12,472
  • Helen Grant – Conservative Party – 14,146
  • Stuart Robert Jeffery – Green Party – 3,727
  • Yolande Ann Kenward – Independent - 197
  • David Sandru Naghi – Liberal Democrat – 6,375
  • Paul Thomas – Reform UK – 9,316
