Arts and creative groups in the borough of Maidstone are being invited to submit their entries for the next round of the Creative Communities Grants before the deadline on 30 June 2024.

Individual artists and creatives, community groups and cultural organisations located in the borough can apply for grants of between £500 and £2,000.

Maidstone Borough Council (MBC) introduced the grants to help encourage arts engagement and community cohesion in Maidstone town centre, as one of the biggest challenges in delivering arts events and activities can be securing the funding to realise a vision.

MBC’s Creative Communities Grants are designed to create a sense of pride in the area and allow an individual or group get a project off the ground.

This is the sixth round of Grants and these will be awarded on 14 August 2024 when monies will be allocated according to the appropriateness of the application.
