Maidstone Borough Council (MBC) wants to hear from people who live in the borough about the services it provides and how it can improve these for the future as part of the 2024 Resident’s Survey.

The survey runs until Sunday 20 October and takes around 10 – 15 mins to complete: https://online1.snapsurveys.com/interview/25bc3cdd-3656-44f8-a7be-b540bb35c25a

Every resident who completes the survey can enter into a prize draw to be in with a chance of winning a variety of prizes including:

  • Family tickets to cheer on Maidstone United FC
  • The spellbinding pantomime at the Hazlitt Theatre Pantomime – Cinderella
  • A fun day out for all the family at Kent Life
  • Bowling like a movie star at Hollywood Bowl

Everyone who enters the prize draw is also eligible for a 7-day gym pass at Maidstone Leisure Centre.

MBC Cabinet Member for Community Cohesion and Safety, Cllr David Naghi added:

“We really encourage anyone who lives in the borough to have their say and take part in our Resident’s survey. The results will form the basis of where we will improve our services in the future so all opinions and views are really important to us”.

“We need to understand the key issues and challenges that are being faced in our County Town. Take part in the survey now and have your say.”

The survey will focus on the priorities of the new MBC Cabinet, ‘Putting People and the Environment First.’

  • A high quality place, adapted for the future
    • Resilient communities
    • Quality homes
    • Fairer economy for people and the planet

It gives all residents the opportunity to tell the Council about their experiences of living in Maidstone.  The results will help shape how it will plan for the future, from housing to health, well-being, waste and recycling to the cost-of-living. Resident’s viewpoints are extremely valuable and will help inform the decisions the Council makes.

MBC staff will be attending local events in the town centre and across the borough with the survey, for a list of these and a link to complete the survey follow the link: https://LetsTalkMaidstone.uk.engagementhq.com/resident-budget-survey-2024

The survey is open to Maidstone residents aged 18 or over. If you have any questions about this survey, please email:  consulation@maidstone.gov.uk
