Customer service is a priority for MBC to ensure that it delivers quick, efficient assistance, and the access to the Council is an important first step in this process.
The Council would like to invite anyone who has recently contacted them to attend a focus group. This is an open opportunity for everyone to share their experiences, whether positive or negative.
During the focus groups, residents will discuss what exemplifies an excellent customer experience and how contacting MBC has impacted them.
The focus group sessions are available to book on the Let’s Talk Maidstone website for anyone over 18 years of age and lives in the borough of Maidstone.
The sessions are being held on:
Light refreshments will be provided at the in-person sessions.
Cllr Kathy Cox, MBC Cabinet Member for Corporate Resources, said:
The Customer Centricity Focus Groups are a great opportunity for residents to share their experiences of how they contact their Council and receive the help they need. I encourage everyone to book a session and come along to help shape the way we communicate and deliver our services.
Anyone interested in participating, should register on Let’s Talk Maidstone by 19 February 2025, detailing age, postcode, gender, ethnicity, economic activity, when you last contacted the Council and which sessions you are able to attend.
MBC wants to make sure those selected for the focus groups are a representative mix of residents reflecting the wider diversity of the borough. If the focus groups are oversubscribed, anyone not selected to join a session at this time may be invited to take part in other opportunities in the future.
Applicants will be informed by 21 February if they have been allocated a place and will be sent further details.
