The first of 300 new trees are being planted to replace those removed as part of the works Maidstone Borough Council is undertaking to repair the historic sluice gates, boat house, spillway, dam and area around Mote Park Lake.
According to the recently published Housing Delivery Test results, Maidstone Borough Council (MBC) has met its housing completion target rate. Failure to meet the required Government set target would result in penalties on the Council which would vary depending on the level of shortfall.
Maidstone Borough Council has successfully prosecuted Mr Leslie Roberts of Huntsman Lane, Maidstone for offences under the animal welfare act for operating a home dog boarding business without a license to run it.
