Maidstone Borough Council’s (MBC) Waste Crime Team is committed to reducing the amount of illegally deposited waste in the town centre and across the borough to stop fly-tipping and littering.
Maidstone’s Eco Hub is now open in the town centre. Situated in The Mall Shopping Centre, the Hub is staffed by the Maidstone Borough Council (MBC) Climate and Biodiversity Team along with volunteers who will be on-hand to help visitors with information and advice about how to become more sustainable and eco-friendlier.
Lockmeadow Entertainment Centre has a host of Summer Sessions events again this year including a Thai Festival, Paddle Boarding and a new event - Summer Indian Street Fest.
Maidstone Borough Council (MBC) is creating a ‘Sustainable Business Directory’ of local organisations which can provide environmentally friendly solutions and services to residents across the borough and is inviting companies to be included.
