Kent business, Clopen, is a step closer to launching what it calls “The Netflix of virtual reality for dementia patients” thanks to the South-East Innovation Programme (SE-IP), an initiative led by NCL Technology Ventures for Maidstone Borough Council (MBC).
MBC is proposing to embark upon an ambitious transformation strategy for Maidstone Town Centre. The strategy will aim to bring forward a variety of new education, health, and other infrastructure whilst creating a range of new retail, leisure and employment opportunities for the people, communities and businesses in the town centre and across the borough. Importantly, the strategy will also be designed to reinforce Maidstone’s role as the County Town of Kent.
MBC is on a mission to #CleanUpMaidstone and as part of the campaign has launched a community project inviting local people to get involved.
Maidstone Borough Council (MBC) has been sprucing up the banks of the River Medway near to Lockmeadow Entertainment Centre to welcome back visitors as part of English Tourism Week ‘You’re Welcome,’ which runs until Sunday 27 March.
